Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Reggio Calabria in Catanzaro with a vote of 110/110 and praise. 1999 : Diploma of Specialization in Sports Medicine at the University of Catanzaro, with a vote of 70/70 and praise. 1990 (August) . SISM scholarship (Italian Secretariat for Medical Students) for clinical training at the Department of Internal Medicine of the Hospital of Kiparissia, Greece . 1994 (April - October) . A study grant from EDIS-Calabria (Law Firm to Study) to conduct a research on the role of hippocampus in sensory discrimination, at the Department of Human Physiology and Integrated Biological Functions "Filippo Bottazzi" of the Second University of Naples under the guide of Prof. Bruno De Luca. 1995 (March - December) . CNR (National Research Center) scholarship to study the role of the metabotropic glutamate receptor in the cerebellar synaptic transmission in the laboratory of Prof. Piergiorgio Strata, Department of Anatomy and Human Physiology (since 1 January 1996 Department of Neuroscience) University of Turin. 1996 (January - June) . Bonino Pulejo Foundation's scholarship for a study on the role of vestibular and proprioceptive information in spatial orientation at the Institute of Physiology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague, in collaboration with Prof. Jan Bures. 1999 - 2000 . · Hippocampal role in associative polymodal conditioning and vestibular and vestibular signals in spatial orientation and formation of cognitive mapping in rat. · Analysis of pointing movements following training and under different muscle load conditions applied to the upper limb of the man. · Role of glutamate metabotropic receptors in the synaptic cerebellar transmission. · Study of the integration of heterero-synaptic signals in the cerebellar cortex and its plasticity by noradrenergic afferents. · Chromatin modulation and memory. · CPEB and long-term synapse-specific facilitation in Aplysia. · Protein synthesis and maintenance of long-term memory in Aplysia. · Molecular basis of communication between the cell body and synapse while appredimento in Aplysia . · Persistence of memory in Alzheimer murine model · Plasticity of muscular skeletal fibers and its modulation
