Research Interest

Dr. Hazard's main research activity focuses on the synthesis and characterization of small molecules and pharmacological peptides. In conjunction with canonical synthetic approaches, this research is based on the development of alternative synthetic methods such as microwave assisted synthesis and continuous flow chemistry. The main current search lines are represented by: 1) Potassium KCNQ dependent voltage channels 2) TRPM Channel Modulators 3) Antitumor agents on chinoma, on glucose metabolism, on modulation of p53
