Research Interest
• Molecular cell biology of muscle differentiation; relationship between transformation and expression of differentiation program in transformed muscle cells. • Cell cycle control in normal and transformed cells; molecular mechanisms of differential gene expression in transformed cells. • Viral and cellular oncogenes as models for oncogenesis and for proto-oncogenes function(s). • Cadherin-mediated cell-cell interactions and growth control. • Microorganism-host interactions.
