Biography
Mattia Toni was born in Cento (Ferrara) on August 26, 1976. He graduated cum laude in Biology at the University of Bologna in 2000. PhD graduated at the University of Bologna with a thesis entitled “Study of the cellular isoform of the prion protein (PrPc) in neuronal cells†in 2004. He was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship to work in a project entitled “Comparative analysis of proteins involved in the differentiation process of the vertebrates epidermis†(from January 2004 to November 2008). He performed proteomic research at the APAF (Australian Proteome Analysis Facility, MacQuarie University, Sydney, Australia). Researcher at the Sapienza University of Rome since December 2008. Co-author of 49 papers in international journals, of 1 book chapter and with eight participations to international and six to national congresses.
