Biography

Siniscalchi Agata, born in Massa Lubrense (NA) on April 20, 59, conjugated Paolillo, 3 children. in 1977 he obtained a degree in scientific maturity at the "G. Salvemini" Institute in Sorrento with a 60/60 vote; on 23.03.84 he received a degree in Physics at the University of Naples "Federico II" with a vote 110/110, discussing a thesis titled "The problem of spectral analysis in magnetotellurica: an experimental approach", rapporteur Prof. Domenico Patella; in 1985 he stayed in Münster (Germany) at the Institut für Geophysik und Metereologie of the local University for a one and a half-year internship dedicated to the processing of magnetotellur data in the two phases of analysis and interpretation in a collaborative effort to the study of the phlegre problem; in the Academic Year 1985-86 he was the winner of the Competition for Admission to the Doctoral Program in Geophysics and Vulcanology at the Department of Geophysics and Vulcanology of the University of Naples; in 1988 he stayed at Sidney (Australia) at Macquarie University for about a month and a half internship dedicated to 2D inversion and modeling in magnetotellurica; on 31.10.88 he completed his PhD in Geophysics and Vulcanology at the Department of Geophysics and Vulcanology at the University of Naples and in February 1989, at the conclusion of the Doctoral Program, he presented a thesis titled "Developments methodological approach to the acquisition and interpretation of natural electromagnetic data ", tutor Prof. Domenico Patella; in November 1988 he was awarded the 1st Medal of Gold "Armando Norinelli" awarded to young graduates from the University of Padua and GNGTS of CNR for the best work in magnetotellurica; on 20.12.88 it was selected in a selection made by the CNR for the recruitment of a staff of five (5) years as a researcher (ex Article 36, Law 70/75) at the Geomare Sud Institute of Naples and in date 16.06.89 he has been employed at the Department of Geophysics and Vulcanology of the University of Naples; on 15.11.89 he discussed the thesis of the PhD in Physics and obtained the title; after the expiry of the first contract with the CNR on 1 July 1994 he took over from the Geomare Sud Institute of Naples, having been recruited for a certain period of time (5 years) as a researcher (ex Article 36 Law 70 / 75); from December 1994 to October 1998 he was a member of the Scientific Council of the Southern Geomorphological Institute of the CNR, as a representative of the research staff; since 1996 he is a member of EAGE and SEG international geophysical companies. winner of the competition for university professor of the role of II band in the D04B Applied Geophysical Group was called by the Faculty of Science MM.FF.NN. of the University of Bari and has been employed since November 11, 1998 as a holder of the chair of Geophysics Marina at the degree course in Environmental Science at the site of Taranto. is Associate Professor confirmed in the GEO11 (Geophysics Applied) field since 1.11.2001. from 1998 until now he is a Scientific Director of three PRINs and also research contracts with oil exploration companies such as Enterprise Oil Italiana and ENI. He has been a member of the College of PhD in Environmental Sciences at the University of Bari since the academic year 1998/99 and 1999/2000 and from the academic year 2000/2001 to 2009/2010 he is a member of the PhD in Research in the Earth Sciences of the University of Bari, where he was tutor of four doctoral theses. He is part of the PhD School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Dimanica at the University of Bari, 2010/2011 to today.
