Biography
Lorenzo Pisani is working as professor in the Department of Mathematics, University of Aldo Moro. Born in Bari in 1965. Classical maturity at the Lycée Ginnasio di Molfetta in 1984. Graduated in Mathematics in 1989 at the University of Bari, rapporteur prof. D. Fortunato. In 1990 CNR fellow at the University of Bari. In 1991 he was awarded a post of graduation at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. As part of her work, she spent a stay at Rutgers University, USA. Researcher for the SSD MAT / 05 Mathematical Analysis at the Faculty of Science Mm. Ff. Nn. of the University of Bari from 1992 to August 2001. Since September 2001 Associate Professor for SSD MAT / 05 Mathematical Analysis, at the same Faculty.
Research Interest
Interaction between fields of matter and electromagnetic fields; * non-linear models in electromagnetism; * solitary waves with topological constraints for nonlinear equations in multiple spatial dimensions; * existence of non-trivial solutions for asymptotically linear differential resonance problems; * Periodic solutions of dynamic systems with singular potential; * existence of geodesics for Lorentz metrics.
