Biography
Prof. Rocco Laviano was born in Satriano di Lucania (PZ) on 04.08.1953, graduated in Geological Sciences at the University of Bari on 09.12.1977 discussing the thesis: Chemical and mineralogical characteristics of some samples of " Lecce stone ". Prof. Rocco Laviano is an associate professor for the GEO / 09 Scientific-Disciplinary Sector : "Mineralogical Mineralogical Mineralogical and Petrographic Applications for Environment and Cultural Heritage" . He is currently conducting research at the Department of Earth and Geo-Environmental Sciences, while his teaching activity is distributed as follows: Triennial Degree Course in Cultural Heritage Science and Technology Teaching of Mineral and Petrographic Applications for Cultural Heritage Triennial Degree in Geological Sciences Teaching Mineralogy and Petrographic Applications for Cultural Heritage Graduate Degree in Geological and Geophysical Sciences Geometric Characteristics of Mineralogy Characterization Master Degree in Archeology Teaching of Archeometry Specialization Course in Archeology Teaching Mineral and Petrographic Applications for Cultural Heritage Professor Rocco Laviano is currently the representative of the professors of the Science of Earth Sciences (Area 04) in the Academic Senate of the University of Bari "Aldo Moro".
