Biography
Born in 1960 he graduated in Chemistry with Lode in 1984 at the University of Cagliari and earned his Ph.D. degree in 1988. Researcher at the Faculty of Science MM FF NN since 1990, has been admitted to the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry . Since 2006 he is Associate Professor for the disciplinary field CHIM / 01 (Analytical Chemistry). Since 1992 he has been part of the "Surface Analysis, Electrochemistry and Corrosion Analysis" Group of the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry at the University of Cagliari. The scientific activity is directed to experimental studies involving the application of electroanalysis to clinical chemistry and to the study of surface properties combined with surface analysis by X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy. Research is directed in particular: - the qualitative and quantitative characterization of the abundant sulfur-rich mineral surfaces in the regional territory of Sardinia with particular attention to the specification of the elements; - Surface analysis of the breathable fraction of atmospheric particulate matter; Co-author of 50 publications in international journals.
