Biography
Elio Acquas is Professor of Pharmacology (SSD: BIO / 14) since March 2005. 1987: Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Cagliari. 1994: PhD in Neuroscience, La Sapienza University - Rome. 1995-1997: Long-term fellowship of the Human Frontiers Science program organization - HFSPO (Strasbourg, France). 1993-1996: PhD fellow at the Division of Neurological Sciences, Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. 1997: Researcher at the Department of Toxicology, University of Cagliari. 2002-2003: PhD fellow at the Department of Neuroscience of Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA. Since 2002: holds the course of Pharmacology of Abuse substances (6 CFUs) during the three-year undergraduate degree in Toxicology (formerly TAAF) Since 2009: holds the course of Toxicology (6 CFUs) in Master's Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies.
