Born in Cagliari (Italy), married, one daughter and one son; High School Lycée Ginnasio "Siotto Pintor" of Cagliari; Degree in Physics, University of Cagliari (supervisor: P. Manca); Graduate Technician, Department of Physics, University of Cagliari, 1988-93; Qualified Expert for the Protection from the Ionizing Radiations, since 1993; Research Associate of Physics, Faculty of Engineering, Univ. Of Cagliari, 1993-2004; Associate Professor of Physics, Faculty of Engineering and Dept. of Physics, Univ. Of Cagliari, since 2005.
Research Interest
Antiferromagnet / superconductor transition in the YBCO system; magnetic properties of iron containing glasses and nanocrystals; structural properties of iron and europium sites in glasses and nanocrystals by means of Mossbauer spectroscopy.
