Biography
Research Associate in Medicinal Chemistry (CHIM 08) at the School of Pharmacy of the University of Cagliari. She won a scholarship with the title: "Studies on the chemical composition of essential oils and plant extracts Sardinian herbs. Analytical separation and recognition of active ingredients responsible for biological activity. "
Research Interest
Isolation, structure delineation and biological activity of secondary metabolites from sardine spontaneous plants and marine organisms. Isolation involves bioavailability of extracts by using chromatographic techniques such as TLC, CC, VLC, MPLC, HPLC, semipreparative. The structure is elucidated by NMR (1D and 2D), UV, IR, MS spectroscopy. Pure extracts and metabolites are evaluated in conjunction with other research groups for various biological activities.
