Biography
Born on May 24, 1960 in Catania. In 1985 he obtained a degree in Agricultural Sciences with a zootechnical degree at the University of Catania. From 2004 to 2008 he is an Ordinary Professor of "Special Animal Husbandry" (SSD AGR-19) at the University of Catania. Since 2009 and Ordinary Professor of "Nutrition and Animal Nutrition" (SSD AGR-18) at the University of Catania. He is currently admitted to the Di3A Department of the University of Catania. Teaching activity Lecturer of first and second level university degree programs in "Nutrition and Animal Feed", "General Animal Husbandry", "Morphic Functional Evaluation of Pets and Animal Welfare", "Animal Husbandry". Other activities Coordinator, from 2005 to 2010, of the PhD in "Science of Animal Production" at the University of Catania. Coordinator, since 2011, of the PhD in "Food Productions and Technologies"

- nutrition and feeding of small ruminants; - feeding and quality of bovine, ovine and caprine milk; -model models for estimating the voluntary consumption of dry grain pasture - Study of the behavior of sheep and goat food - Effects of nutrition and genotype interaction on lattoprotein and lipogenetic loci on production, milk quality, food ingestion, metabolic and hormonal responses of ruminants
