Biography
Graduated and Doctor of Science in Food Science and Technology at the University of Catania. He has been a researcher since 2014, for SSD AGR / 15 at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment. From 2011 to 2104 he was assigned research at the same department and collaborated with the Scientific and Technological Park of Sicily for research projects concerning the production of biodegradable polymers from agro-industry waste. She has been a professor of Food Packaging for Food Science and Technology (LM-70) and Bioprocesses for the Graduate Degree in Agricultural Biotechnology (LM-7) and Fundamental Operations Unit, who is currently a lecturer. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Board of Disciplinary Board of Food Technology. He co-tutor of a doctoral thesis in Food Science and Technology. Scientific activity is documented by 45 publications on scientific journals and conference papers.

Food Enzymology, Food Biotechnologies, Unitary Operations and Application of Enzymatic Technologies in Food Processes and the Valuation of Disposal Products in the Food Industry.
