Biography
Graduated in Agricultural Sciences with a high degree of praise and praise in 1989. Researcher in Agricultural Entomology in 1996. Researcher at the University of Catania since 1996. He has conducted numerous experimental trials, including on behalf of third parties (Bayer, Dow AgroSciences, Du Pont), concerning the protection of agricultural crops from animal parasites and the entomophilic pollination of greenhouse horticulture. He has been a lecturer in: Agricultural Zoology, Forestry and Aquaculture; Complement of phytatism; Agricultural Entomology; Zoology and entomology applied; Methods of protection of herbaceous crops; Forest entomology; Elements of zoology and forest entomology; at the University of Catania. She collaborates with the Department's teaching activities.
Research Interest
the development of integrated and biological strategies in Mediterranean agro-ecosystems; taxonomy, fauna and biology of Sternorrhyncha Diaspididae; surveys on gradations and diffusion in the territory of the main or new phytophages in forest ecosystems.
