Biography
Alberto Tesi was born in Lamporecchio (PT) on May 5, 1957. He is an Ordinary Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Florence, where he has held the course of Automatic Control since 1992. Since 1990 he has been involved in the Department of Systems and Informatics of the same University. He was Chairman of the Faculty of Engineering from November 1, 2006 to October 31, 2009 and Rector of the University of Florence from November 1, 2009 to October 31, 2015.
Research Interest
The research interests mainly concern the analysis of non-linear systems, robust control of linear systems and convex optimization techniques. He co-authored about 170 scientific publications.
