Biography

Research Assistant at the University of Florence from 1.1.1991 to 31.12.2003. Researcher of Semitic Philology at the University of Florence from January 1, 2004. Researcher of Assyriology at the University of Florence from November 1, 2005. Professor of Assyriology at the University of Florence from October 1, 2015. Member of the Italian Archaeological Expedition at Tell Mardikh - Ebla, Syria, (University of Rome "La Sapienza", director Prof. Paolo Matthiae), as epigraphist, from 1991-. Member of the American Archaeological Expedition at Tell Banat, Tishrin, Syria (directed by TL McClellan), as site supervisor, in 1995 and 1997. Member of the team of Mari UPR 193, CNRS (Paris), directed by J.-M. Durand and F. Joannès, from 1990 to 1997. Member of the Scientific Commitee of CLieo (Historical and Theoretical Language Center: Italian, European Languages, Oriental Languages) from 2012-. Member of "Doctoral School of Linguistics Research" 2005-2009. Member of "Doctoral School of History Research" from 2010. She has participated in several research projects concerning Semitic Linguistics (National Research Council).
