Biography
Professor Anna Linda Zignego graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Siena in 1981, with 110/110 votes and praise. He specializes in Clinical Immunology and Allergology at the University of Florence in 1986, with grades 70/70 and praise. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Clinical Physiopathology at the University of Florence in 1990. From 1985 to 1990 he pursued research activities at the Genetic Recombination and Genetic Expression Unit of the Pasteur Institute in Paris. Since 1990 he has been responsible for the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Epathy Virus and Viral Oncology and of the Hepatitis and Hepatitis Transplantation Clinic at the Department of Internal Medicine of the University of Florence. From April 2001 he is Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Florence, teaches Clinical Physiopathology and Systemic Medicine at the degree in Medicine and Surgery, and holds courses in Medical School Specialization Schools (Gastroenterology and Medical Oncology) and in the PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine at the University of Florence. He has also taught in numerous national and international training courses and master classes. Since 2003 she is director of the "Center for the Study of Epathic Virus Systemic Events" at the University of Florence,
Research Interest
the study of the pathogenesis of HCV extra-epathy manifestations, with particular regard to the possible mechanisms involved in lymphomagenesi.
