Work and Organizational Psychology Full Professor , Department of Education and Psychology, University of Florence. Rector's Delegate for Psychological counseling in guidance and job placement. Director of the International Research and Intervention Laboratory in the Cross-Cultural Positive Psychology, Prevention and Sustainability ( CroCPosPsychP & S )  at the Department of Education and Psychology at the University of Florence. Director of the International Research and Intervention Laboratory in Psychology for Vocational Guidance and Career Counseling and Talents ( LabOProCCareer & T )  at the Department of Education and Psychology at the University of Florence.

Research Interest

ROFESSIONAL ORIENTATION:     professional indecision, career decision difficulties, decision-making styles;   academic / academic success: the role of traditional variables and emerging variables in individual differences (fluid intelligence, personality traits, emotional intelligence);   study of the effectiveness of specific interventions applied: emotional intelligence enhancement training, skills budgeting, career counseling.          COUNSELING:     empirical deepening of Italian reality and its configuration at the level of training opportunities present on the national territory;   study help-seeking behavior to enhance the usability and dissemination of counseling interventions;   study of psychometric properties of useful tools for counseling in various contexts;   career counseling.          ORGANIZATIONAL PROBLEMS:     attention to recent-interest dimensions in the study of individual characteristics in relation to business-relevant variables: emotional intelligence, resistance to change, core self-evaluation traits, occupational self-efficacy;   specific training programs specifically designed to enhance emotional intelligence   interest in the implication of variables such as organizational justice, harassment, mobbing on welfare, quality and satisfaction in organizational contexts;   study of the psychometric properties of instruments;   organizational counseling.
