Biography
Scientific and didactic path July 4, 1996: Graduated with honors at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pisa - thesis titled "The error of law between dummies and criminal politics" dall'a.a. 1996/7 at da. 1998/9: Specializing in Criminal Law at the Higher School of University Studies and Further Education Sant'Anna di Pisa (research project entitled "Guilt and Arbitrary Crimes" - Referent Professor Tullio Padovani) From 1 May to 30 September 1999: Gast of the Max Planck Institut für ausländisches und Internationale Strafrecht in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, with a research project entitled "Schuldprinzip und Formelle Verbrechen (Mala quia prohibita)". November 1999: overcoming the competition for a lawyer at the Court of Appeal in Florence from 1/9/2000 to 1/9/2002: research grant at the Department of Public Law of the University of Pisa September 20, 2001: Enforcement in Criminal Law, with praise, at the Higher School of University Studies and Further Education Sant'Anna di Pisa. December 15, 2004: declared eligible, at the University of Palermo, to play the role of associate professor in criminal law 2005: contract professor at the Degree Course in Social Security Operators, Faculty of Political Science at the University of Florence. Starting at da. 2005/6: Associate Professor (confirmed on November 1, 2008) at the Faculty of Political Science "Cesare Alfieri" of the University of Florence, then at the Department of Legal Sciences. Holding, over time, courses - variously denominated and incardinated in different degree courses - of criminal law general part, criminal law special part and complementary legislation, criminal law of public administration, criminal law criminal offense. February 6, 2014: Enrolled as a first-class professor in criminal justice, with the unanimous judgment of the National Commission for Enforcement and Excellence Evaluations Numerous lectures, by invitation, at other Italian universities, Doctoral Schools, Master's and Specialization Schools (Milan, Bologna, Modena, Macerata, Siena, Perugia, University of Salento). Constant collaboration, in particular, with the chair of International Criminal Law and comparative at the University of Bologna (Professor Gaetano Insolera). In general, the didactic and scientific activity, sometimes framed in international collaborations (among which various international criminal law research projects co-ordinated by Prof. Antonio Cassese) and Projects of Relevant National Interest, mainly concerns issues such as guilt, causality, forms of manifestation of the offense, crimes against public administration, crimes against the person (and against the person in the family), the criminal law of beginning and end of life and the biodiesel in general, the criminal liability of the physician , international crimes.
