Biography

I graduated in. 1994/1995 at the Faculty of Magisterium of the University of Florence with a thesis in Theory and Technique of Mass Communications obtaining the vote of 110/110 and praise. In 1995/1996 and 1996/1997 I did educational and scientific activities at the Faculty of Magisterium, working with the professors of Glottodidattica and Theory and Technique of Mass Communications. At the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature at the University of Florence, as a contract professor, I held the following courses: aa 1996/1997 Interactive glottodydactic technologies to the 2000/2001 Elements of Business Economy aa 2001/2002 Elements of business economy; Teaching of economic-business languages a 2002/2003 and 2003/2004 Teaching of economic-business languages; Theory and Technique of Mass Communications and Elements of Business Economics In the years 2003/2004 and 2004/2005, within the Master's degree in Institutional Advertising, Multimedia Communication and Event Creation I have been relying on a core of lessons within the Information Selection and Management module. In January 2004 I took up the position as a researcher in the field of L-LIN / 02 Teaching of modern languages ​​at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Florence (researcher confirmed on 01/01/2007) where I held the following courses: aa 2004/2005 Languages ​​of economics and politics; Theory and Technique of Mass Communications. aa 2005/2006 Languages ​​of Economics and Politics; Theory and Technique of Mass Communications I and II module. in 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 Languages ​​of Politics for the Degree Course in Linguistic and Multimedia Communication and Theory and Technique of Mass Communications for Specialized Degrees. aa 2008/2009; aa 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 Logic of political discourse and intercultural communication for the Master's Degree in Linguistics and Teaching of Modern Foreign Languages ​​for the Master Degree Course in European and American Languages ​​and Literatures. aa 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 Teaching of modern foreign languages ​​1 and 2 for the Master's Degree in European and American Languages ​​and Literatures. aa 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 Language, Culture and Mass Media for the Degree Course in Humanities for Communication; Intercultural Information Master in Public Relations, Media Communication and Event Creation.

Research Interest

As far as scientific activity is concerned, I have developed and deepened some research lines on special languages, the notion of text and in general the relationship between media, cognitive skills, language education and identity training.
