Biography
Laurea cum laude in Biological Sciences in July 2000 at the University of Florence. In May 2002, she was funded as a young researcher by the University of Florence since she was one of the winners of the funding for young scientists the research project "Epidemiology of road accidents in the provinces of Florence and Pistoia". Since2002 she has participated in many national and regional research projects. From 1 November 2000 to 31 March 2013 she has been a research fellow, PhD student or postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Public Health of the University of Florence. From 1 April 2013 she is a fixed-term researcher at the Department of Health Science (SSD MED / 42 - General Hygiene and Applied).

Her research topics are as follows: · Surveillance of acute flaccid paralysis · Surveillance of rotavirus infection in children · Epidemiology and prevention of traffic accidents · Food Hygiene · Nutritional risk in the institutionalized elderly · Quality of care in nursing homes
