Claudio Sica

Biography

Psychologist and Psychotherapist. She holds the title of Doctor of Research in Social Psychology and Personality at the University of Padua. He taught at the universities of Padua and Parma. Since 2005 he has been teaching at the University of Florence. He is accredited to the Order of Psychologists of Lombardy as an "expert" in Clinical Psychology, Juridical Psychology, Psychological Diagnostics, Experimental Psychology and Research. He is a referee of some of the leading International Heads of Clinical Psychology and a member of the International Journal of Cognitive Therapy. He is a MIUR referee for COFIN projects and other international projects. He is an expert on the European Community for the evaluation of research projects within the EU countries. He is an ordinary member of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). He studied and worked at the University of St. Andrews (Scotland) with Derek and Mary Johnston; at Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinic and the Addictive Behavior Research Center at Washington University with Marsha Linehan and Alan Marlatt; at the Medical College of Pennsylvania Center for Treatment and Study of Anxiety with Edna Foa, Michael Kozak and Nader Amir; with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Rome; with Christopher Patrick at Florida State University. She collaborates with British, American, Canadian, Australian researchers and scholars.
