Research Interest
The research activity concerns the study of muscular contraction in striated muscle by using a biochemical and functional cheesy to investigate the chemical coupling process and its underlying regulation of CB work production. A Study with classical mechanics techniques of contractile characteristics of single fibers isolated from Rana's skeletal and cardiac muscle (relationship Voltage / Length, kinetic strength development in isometric tetanus B- Study with rapid enzymatic kinetics techniques of some of the phases of contractile ATPasic cycles in actomyosinic systems in myofibre in solution. C-Development of micromechanical and micro perfusion techniques for the measurement of the strength and kinetics of its development in single myofibles following rapid perturbations of the chemical environment or mechanical conditions. D-Single myofibrill-level study of the chemical mechanism transduction and its regulation (ATP effect on shortening speed, phosphate effect on the strength and release process, identification of the stage in the CB cycle associated with the working stroke; determinants of the release of force in the CB cycle). E-Silverture of Regulatory Protein Complex or Subunit Replacement Techniques with Exogenous or Mutant Proteins as a Highly Effective Tool for Investigating Regulatory Protein-Function Functional Relationships in Controlling Molecular Engine Function, including in the Human Model in the presence of genetic diseases (FHCM, skeletal myopathies).
