Biography
Born in Florence on 3/8/1949. Graduated in Pharmacy (1972) and Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies (1973). Associate Professor of General Physiology since 1987. Since 1972 he has published field scientific papers before experimental psychology (memory transfer, spontaneous and conditioned behavior of the rodent) and then neurophysiology of the upper nerve functions (neural correlations of learning and memory). In the years 1990-1992 he worked scientifically at the Academy of Sciences of the Czechoslovak Republic, Prague, publishing works in collaboration with Dr. Jan Bures. Member of the SIF (Italian Society of Physiology), EBBS (The European Brain and Behavior Society), SIN (Italian Society of Neuroscience). He has published 76 extensive papers, 106 communications to congresses, 10 contributions to scientific volumes.
