Biography

In 1998 he obtained his degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation at the Faculty of Cultural Heritage of the University of Tuscia, Viterbo. In April 2004 he holds the title of Doctor of Research in Anthropological Sciences at the University of Turin.

Research Interest

The research activity mainly concerns two themes of Italian prehistory: the populations of southern Italy and Sicily during the Upper Paleolithic and Mesolithic, and the evolution of the lithic productions of the Padano-alpine area during the Neolithic and the Age of Copper. In the framework of these themes he participates and organizes scientific conferences of national and international relevance and collaborates with several Research Institutes and Institutes, including the Museo and Istituto Fiorentino di Preistoria, the Department of Archeology and History of the Arts of the University of Siena, the Superintendence for the Archaeological Heritage of Lombardy, the Superintendence at the Prehistoric Ethnographic Museum "Pigorini" in Rome  and the Superintendence to the Cultural and Archaeological Heritage of Trapani.
