Biography

Born in Cagliari on October 6, 1954. - from July 1, 1983 to January 31, 2005 is a RECEIVER and since February 1, 2005 is a UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR of the fascia for the MED 28 disciplines group of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Florence at the Odontostomatologia Department.     From the academic year 1996/97 he holds the Teaching "Ortognatodonzia and Gnatologia.Funzione Masticatoria" at the IV year of the Specialization Degree Course in Dentistry      and Dental Prosthesis of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Florence. - Since 2007/08 he is the holder and coordinator of the Teaching "Ortognatodonzia and Gnatologia.Funzione Masticatoria" at the V year of the Degree Specialization in Dentistry and Dentistry at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Florence. - Since 1993/94 he holds the Teaching of "Odontostomatologia" in the School of Specialization in Pediatrics of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Florence. - Since the academic year 2005-06 he holds the Teaching of "ORTOGNATODONZIA" in the Degree in Dental Hygiene. - Since the academic year 2006-07 he holds the Teaching of "ORTOGNATODONZIA" in the School of Specialization in Oral Surgery. He received the 40th edition of the Italian Infantile Dentistry Society (SIOI) for the best work published in the Italian Journal of Infantile Dentistry in the period January 1990- December 1995 and the IV National Prize in SIDO in Venice in October 1996.  He is a member of the Italian Society of Odontostomatology and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, since 1985.  of the Italian Society of Orthodontics, since 1983, of the Italian Society of Infant Dentistry since 1985 and of the Italian Catholic Dentistry Society since 2002.  He has been a Lecturer at the Course of Orthodontic Interpretation at the University of Florence from the academic year 2001/02 and the finalization course in Infantile Dentistry at the University of Florence from the academic year 2004/05, to date. He is the author of 105 press publications in major national and international journals on topics specifically related to orthodontics and dental dentistry and speaker on invitation to numerous national events
