Biography
Graduated in Electronic Engineering, he received his doctorate in "Agricultural Mechanization of Tropical and Subtropical Countries" at the University of Florence. He has worked in various fields of mechanical engineering and mechanization by collaborating with structures such as CEMAT and CEMAGREF and participating in a mission in Tunisia. Since 1991 he began his career as a researcher within the DIAF (Department of Grass and Forestry Engineering at the University of Florence Associate Professor in 2000, since 2005 is an extraordinary professor. He is a member of various scientific associations of international interest. (AIIA, ASAE, Academy of Georgophiles, Interdepartmental Center for the Study of the Conditions of Risk and Development of Civil Protection Activities - CISPRO, Interregional Alternative and Renewable Energy Center - CREAR).
Research Interest
His research activity is concerned with the various sectors of agricultural engineering, especially agricultural safety, mechanics, agricultural mechanization, agro-industries, plant and machinery development, biomass to energy chains optimization .
