Enrico Lumini

Biography

He started working in 1993 as a clinical nurse in the Neurosurgery Department of Neurosurgery at the Careggi Hospital Hospital and then moved to the neurosurgical Operational Room where he served as anesthesia nurse. In 2001 and until 2009 he moved to the Department of Emergency and Acceptance by serving as a clinical nurse before and an experienced clinical nurse later gaining knowledge and skills in the Triage methodology, nursing management of major clinical emergencies and starting qualitative research activities than quantitative. In 2009 and until 2013 he was in charge of the Evidence Based Nursing Disciplinary Unitand research in the Nursing and Obstetric Service at the AOU Careggi: at this time it plans and participates in some studies, mainly of observational nature, both in clinical and management fields and deepens the critical evaluation methodology of literature and strategies of the implementation of good practice in nursing clinical activity. Currently serving for the Integrated Interinstitutional Department at the UO's Comprehensive Learning Services. In 2001, he started his experience as trainer and tutor in emergency courses (BLSD, PHTC) and in 2003 he began his university teaching activities at the Emergency Level I Therapist and Intensive Therapy then extended to other Masters in the Nursing Area (Oncology and Palliative Care, Coordination Functions, Surgery, Wound Care) and subsequently the Nursing Degree Course, and the Master's Degree in Nursing and Nursing Sciences. As collaterals, collaborate on regional projects in the control of pain or control of infections In therapy (CORIST - TI group), the collaboration between 2006 and 2009 as a member of the Editorial Committee of the Journal of the Nurse, edited by National Federation of IPASVI Colleges, the coordination of nursing activities in the International Health Cooperation Project "Florence - Asmara Km 0" in collaboration with the Tuscany Region and the University of Florence. He has attended numerous national and international conferences and conferences as invited speakers.

Research Interest

He is currently engaged in research and documentation activities related to Nursing Sensitives Outcomes , assessment and treatment of pain, assessment of the working climate and its relationship with the performance of nursing groups
