Born in Rome on 15-02-1961 .Since February '04: Ordinary Professor of Hydraulic Buildings, Faculty of Engineering, University of Florence.

Fluodynamic modeling of atmospheric fronts and precipitation. Orphic effects on precipitation. Stochastic models physically based on precipitation. Stochastic patterns of infiltration in heterogeneous salts. Spatial variability and scale properties of soil moisture. Estimation of humidity and energy balance of remote sensing soil. Soil-atmosphere interactions and feedback on soil moisture on precipitation. Tele-connections and feedback in climate dynamics. Hydrological modeling distributed for forecasting the full. Arrangement criteria for expansion boxes. Using quantitative precipitation forecasts in full risk management. Management of multi-sensor weather-hydrological networks. Dock planning. Low cost systems for water supply and storage in arid climates. Remote sensing of vegetation. Assimilation of data in extended and non-linear dynamic systems.
