Biography

1990 - At the October session he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence, discussing the thesis "The Right Cancer of the Jass Classification Prognostic Value" and the 110/110 vote and praise (Rapporteur Prof. Camillo Cortesini). 1991 - Enrolls at the Professional Exercise at the April session at the University of Florence. 1991 - Attends the 109th AUC Course of Health Care and is ranked first in its ranking of merit. He then fulfilled his military obligations by serving as a Medical Officer at the 58th Mechanized Regiment in Florence. 1995 - In June, he attended specialization in General Surgery, discussing the thesis "Colorectal carcinoma: prognostic value of clinical-histopathological variables and their correlation with the degree of ploidy of nuclear DNA and the proliferative activity of tumor cells" and reporting the vote of 70/70 and praise. 1997 - September. Participates as a speaker at The European Cancer Conference (ECCO 9) (Hamburg, Germany) on the topic: "Evidence for different site-related genetic mechanisms in the pathogenesis of sporadic colorectal cancer". 1997-99 - Coach Prof. Paolo Bechi in the lectures at the University Degree Course for Nurses of General Surgery within the integrated course of Surgery and Nursing Techniques Applied to Surgery at Prato. 1998 - June. He is a speaker at the I UCP Meeting Tuscany (Chianciano Terme, June 13) on the topic: "Right Carcinoma: Histopathological Prognostic Factors and Biological Characterization". 1998 - In October she takes up as a researcher at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of ' 1998-2001 - Takes specialization in Digestive Plant Surgery and Digestive Endoscopy, discussing the thesis" Proposing a Minimum Number of Lymphs to Examine for Proper Staging of Colorectal Carcinoma "and bringing the vote of 70/70 and praise.   1995-2000 - He has collaborated with CNR's Institute of Electromagnetic Waves (INROE) in a program of optical sensor development for the detection of duodenal gastro-oesophageal reflux. 1999-2001 - It is one of the two leaders of the research program "pH-Meter Optical Fiber Gastric Esophagus" carried out in collaboration with the DATAMED Society. 2001 - October. Participates as a rapporteur at the 9th United European Gastroenterology Week (UEGW) (Amsterdam, Netherlands) on "Cyclooxygenase-2 and vascular endothelial growth factor expression in human colorectal cancer: implications for tumor angiogenesis". 2001 - Suitability for second-tier Professor in General Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Florence (comparative evaluation for the s / d F08A sector, banded with DR n.933 of 6.10.00, approval of acts with decree of Rector n.1020 dated 16.10.2001). 2002 - Plenary Speaker at the 106th Congress of the Italian Society of Surgery on the following topic: "The prognostic significance of lymph node micrometastases in colorectal carcinoma"
