Biography
Francesco Ciampi is an Associate Professor of Management at the Business and Economic Science Department of the University of Florence. In 2013 he qualifies as a Full Professor of Management. He is teaching post-graduate courses in Management Consulting and graduate courses in Business Administration and Management. In 2012 he received Sinergie Journal (ISSN: 0393-5108) Best Paper Award for the paper: "F. Ciampi, N. Gordini, Firm-Territory Relationship and Business Default Prediction Modeling . In 2013 he qualifies as Oxford Journal Distinguished Research Professor. In 2015 he received Sinergie Journal (ISSN: 0393-5108) Best Referee Award.
Research Interest
His current research interests are concerned with the modeling of predictable business default processes, corporate governance (with particular attention to bank-business relations and the financial structure of small and medium-sized enterprises) and management consulting (with particular attention to customer-consultant relationship and the related dynamics of entrepreneurial knowledge creation).
