Biography
Born in Pistoia on 01.12.53, he graduated in architecture in November 1978, vote 110 and praise, with a thesis on the use of solar energy in residential air conditioning; · He waspassed in 1978, he became a member of the Archives of the Province of Pistoia in 1979; ·In 1980 he was appointed to the COSP (Orientation and Product Development Center), the Chamber of Commerce of Pistoia; ·In 1984 he cooperated with the CRU (Urban Research Center), which was established in Pistoia with the aim of analyzing the problems concerning the territory and the transformations of urban morphology; ·Since December 1990, member of AICARR (Association of Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration); ·In the period 1994-96 he was invited by the Association to be part of the Publishing and Documentation Committee chaired by Prof. Gaetano Alfano;
Research Interest
Analysis, editing and application of simplified mathematical modeling models for the evaluation of the performance of plants using renewable energy sources (solar energy) in combination with alternative air conditioning systems (helium-assisted heat pumps); 2. thermal comfort conditions in relation to the type of plant terminals; 3. Study of some physical and technical issues in the field of visual perception, the detection of noise levels and their effects on people in particularenvironments ; 4. study and application of a simplified calculation model for the determination of the energy requirements of the building-system system, with reference to the national calculation method (UNI-CTI) and international calculation (European calculation codes); 5. thermophysical properties of the materials in relation to the moisture content (evaluation of adsorption and desorption), analysis of the problems in order to understand the genesis and its reduction for some common artificial stone materials; 6. thermal performance of constructive solutions (inter-cavity) and opaque (brick) and transparent (glazing) building components; 7. Characteristics and technological evolution of plant systems and components, with particular reference to the design, construction and regulatory aspects of aeronautical systems, and the containment of energy consumption; 8. Relationships between indoor air quality, aerodynamic systems and hygiene maintenance of its components in order to experiment and propose a survey method and pollutant acceptance values; 9. acoustic protection of buildings and the environment, with the study and application of methodologies for the acoustic classification of the territory.
