Biography
Gianna Claudia Giannelli is Associate Professor of Economics and Labor Economics at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Florence. She also teaches in the PhD program in Development Economics at the University of Florence. She is a research fellow of IZA, and also associate researcher of CHILD (Center for Household, Income, Labor and Demographic Economics, Turin). She received her MA in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and her Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute of Florence. She has been Research Fellow of the European University Institute collaborating on several research projects on welfare state and labor market regimes, household dynamics and economic inequality, microeconomic analysis of labor markets and consumer behavior. She has been a professor of Labor Economics at the Faculty of Political Science and at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Florence.
