Research Interest

Monitoring and identification of monumental buildings: Numerical and experimental aspects (in-situ and monitoring) related to the issues related to the protection and characterization of the structural (static and dynamic) behavior of monumental buildings  Seismic response of monumental buildings : analysis of the seismic response of buildings to character monumental; definition of vulnerability and seismic risk in historic monuments  Wind engineering: Theoretical, numerical and experimental aspects related to the response of elastic systems (structures) subjected to wind action and polluting diffusion mitigation techniques. Since 1993, after taking care of the experimental setup, he deals with the CRIACIV-DICEA developed layered wind tunnel at Prato's headquarters at the University of Florence
