Biography

1981: Degree in Literature with an Artistic History address, History of Modern Art with Carlo Del Bravo, University of Florence 1982: scholarship at the Fondazione Roberto Longhi of Florence 1983/85: a graduation grant at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa 1985: winner of the competition for a graduate engineer at the Institute of Art History of the University of Florence (then Department of History of Arts and Performing Arts) 1986/1998: employed as a graduate technician (then technical officer) at the University of Florence 1998: winner of the Competition for positions of university professor of the role of II band (bandito with DD.MM. 22.12.95 and 29.2.96) for the sector L25C History of Contemporary Art 1998-2002: Professor of History of Contemporary Art at the Faculties of Cultural Heritage of the University of Lecce since 2002: Professor of History of Contemporary Art at the Faculties of Letters of the University of Florence  from 2014: fixed-time professor of Contemporary Art History at the SAGAS Department of the University of Florence
