Born in Naples (1966). Degree in Political Science at the Eastern University Institute (1991). Doctorate at Freie Universität Berlin (2002). Lecturer in Conflict Resolution, University of Bradford (aa 2009-2010), Professor in International Organization, Syracuse Univesrity Florence, (aa 2010-2011) Since December 1, 2010 Associate Professor of Sociology of Cultural Processes, Faculty of Education Sciences, University of Florence. From November 1, 2012 to November 30, 2015 President of the Degree Course "Economic Development, International Cooperation and Socio-Health and Conflict Management"
Research Interest
Theories of conflict and mediation. Models and Practices of Mediation and Participatory Democracy. International mediation processes, the prevention of armed violence and peacebuilding. Managing social conflicts in the presence of declining streams of non-renewable resources. Methods of training for mediation, nonviolence and peace.
