Biography
Guido Tigler, born in Florence in 1963, is an associate professor of Medieval Art History at the University of Florence. He graduated in 1989 in Medieval Art History at the University of Florence, with a thesis curated by Adriano Peroni, entitled Sculpture and Romanesque Architecture in Lucca . In 1994 he received the title of Doctor of History in Art History at the University of Venice, with the thesis The Major Portal of San Marco in Venice, tutored by W. Dorigo and R. Polacco. In 2001, following a competition, he was eligible for the University for Foreigners in Perugia. Since 2002 he has been Associate Professor of Medieval Art History at the Faculty of Humanities and Philosophy at the University of Florence,
