Biography
Full Professor of Medieval Archeology, author of about 200 scientific publications on the character of urban development, aspects of the 'incastellamento' and settlement on Mediterranean feudal areas, problems of production's archeology and of research methodology. He is co-director of four series of studies, is a member of the Scientific Committee of five magazines, he has directed sixty archseological projects.
