Biography
From October 1977 to January 1979 he served as Military Service as a Subordinate Medical Complement at the School of Military Health in Florence;currently has the rank of Captain Doctor. In the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Plastic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the University of Florence was Assistant Professor, then Associate Professor and Associate Professor; He iscurrently Professor of MED / 33 Locomotive Diseases. He is Director of SOD Complex Orthopedics General 1 of AOU Careggi.She is Director of the School of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Florence. He is coordinator of the PhD in Pathology and Clinics of Calcified Fabrics. He is the President of the Degree Course in Podology Master of Podology Has Teaching at the following University of Florence Course Degree Course in Medicine and SurgeryDegree Course in Podology Degree Course for Orthopedic TechnicianDegree Course for Nursing School of specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology, Physical Medicine, Sports Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine and Legal Insurance.
Research Interest
hip and knee arthroplasty: primary and auditory interventions, monocompartmental prostheses planning preoperative, use of bone grafts, treatment of infections, rehabilitation. - tissue engineering, use of stem cells and growth factors - osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseasetraumatology: hip dislocation, spine distortion, diaphoreal fractures, forearm, femur and leg, joint, elbow, hip and knee joint fractures.
