Biography

Laura Pierucci graduated in Electronic Engineering  at the University of Florence in 1987, discussing a thesis titled "Multi-DSP System for Digital Signal Processing with Application on Ultrasonic Doppler: Theoretical Development and Realization" From 1987 to 1989 he worked as a consultant for Tecnobiomedica SpA ROMA, ESAOTE Biomedica in Florence, OTE (currently Selex-Comm) in Florence respectively in research projects in the field of ultrasonic applications in medicine and in the development of the system mobile GSM mobile phone. In 1989 he was the winner of a CNR scholarship for the subject "Study of Passive Fiber Optic Components and Optical Multiplexing Techniques for Use in Data Transmission Networks". From 1991 to 2000   he was a Technical Officer   at the Department of Electronic Engineering at the University of Florence in Telecommunication and Signal Processing. Since 2001 he is a researcher of Telecommunications at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Florence, in the scientific-disciplinary field K03X - Telecommunication
