Biography
Associate Professor of International Law (IUS / 13) at the University of Florence . He graduated from Political Science at the University of Florence in 1992. He completed his Master's Degree in Legal Research at Oxford University , Balliol College, Law Faculty in 1994 and a Ph.D. PhD) in law at the European University Institute in Florence, Department of Law, in 1998. She was also Visiting Scholar at Harvard University in 1995 and Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in 2004.
Research Interest
International Law on Armed Conflict, Human Rights (with particular reference to the right to life and the prohibition of torture), peace and peace-building processes, non-state actors and international law, women's rights.
