Biography
Prof. Marco Fioravanti Born in Florence on April 9, 1961. Academic career Since 2001 Associate Professor of Wood Technology (AGR06), Associate to the Department of Management of Agrarian, Food and Forestry Systems (GESAAF) of the University of Florence. 1992-2001 University Researcher for SSD AGR06 Wood Technology and Forestry Utilization 1992 He holds the title of Doctor of Research in Wood Science 1988 Visiting fellow at the Department of Wood Science at the University College of North Wales (UK) 1987 Graduated from the Forestry Sciences at the University of Florence.
Research Interest
He has carried out his research in the field of Wood Technology, and in particular deals with wood anatomy, relations between forestry and wood quality, wood processing and transformation, mechanical and micromechanical wood, preservation of wooden artifacts of historical interest , artistic and archaeological.
