Biography

Since 2005: Associate Professor of German Literature at the University of Florence, Faculty of Humanities and Philosophy - From 1995 to 2005: Researcher of (German Language and Literature) at the University of Florence, Faculty of Arts and Letters - From 2002 to 2006: of German Language at the University of Florence, Faculty of Political Science - 1982-1986: Teacher of Italian Language at the Italian Language School for Foreigners "Fiorenza" (Florence) Didactic experience abroad   - July 2011: German Literature Course at the University of Bonn (summer semester) - Lectures and conferences at the University of Bonn 2002-2005 - 1989-1992: Teacher of Italian at the Institute of Italian Culture in Stuttgart (Germany ) - 1987-1989: Italian Language Reader at the University of Stuttgart (Germany)

Research Interest

Reception of Friedrich Nietzsche's thought on German culture in the early twentieth century, especially on writers Gottfried Benn and Rudolf Pannwitz;- Aspects of the historical-cultural influence of the French Revolution on German Literature by CM Wieland to Romantics; - Stefan George and George-Kreis; - The lyric of expressionism, as well as the lyric of Gottfried Benn; - Judaism and German culture in the early twentieth century and until the advent of Nazism (in particular the work of Erich Kahler); - The work of GE Lessing.
