Personal Data, Curriculum Studiorum: 1975 - Classic maturity certificate 1980 - Degree in Natural Sciences. 1984 - Degree in Biological Sciences. 1986 - Research stage at the Center de la Recherche Scientifique - Université des Sciences et Techniques du Languedoc - Montpellier (France). 1987 - Ph.D. in Systematics and Plant Ecology. 1988 - Continuation in "Methodology of Laboratory Research" at the University of Modena. Career and university career: School year 1980 / 81-1982 / 83 - Alternate teacher or deputy in lower secondary and higher school of the Provveditorato in the Studies of Florence. 1988 - Graduated technician at the Department of Plant Biology (Laboratory of Botany General) of the University of Florence. 1992 - University Researcher of the E01 subgroup E01.1 (General Botany and Systematic Phytogeography) at the University of Florence. 2001 - Second professor in the disciplinary science field E01B, then BIO / 02 at the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences at the University of Florence.
