Biography
Associate Professor of Musicology and Music History. Vice President and Delegate for Orientation and Tutoring of the DAMS Degree Course and Musical Musicology. Member of the College of Teachers of the Doctoral School in History of Art and Performing History. He has been dealing with the History of Italian Music of the Seven, Eight and Twentieth Century, musical lexicography, periodical music, poetry and music relations, and poetry editions for Renaissance music. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Ferruccio Busoni Music Center of Empoli. He collaborated with the "Italian Language Literature Lecture 1490-1950" (LESMU), a computer dictionary in Cd-Rom by F. Nicolodi and P. Trovato (Florence, Cesati, 2007), at the PRIN 2005-2007 project "Banca Data of Italian Music Critics 1900-1950 ", coordinated by F. Nicolodi; to the PRIN 2007-2009 project "Banca Dati of Italian Music Critics 1950-1970", coordinated by L. Zanoncelli; to the PRIN 2009-11 project "Music articles in the nineteenth century printing" coordinated by A. Guarnieri; at the University of Siena's 2003-2005 Research Plan coordinated by Talia Pecker Berio, respectively on "Online Introduction to Music Thoughts and Practices" and Luciano Berio's Work.
