Biography
After graduating from Geography at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Florence, he continued his education at the Technical University of Munich, where he earned his Ph.D. in Ph.D. (1989) and in 2001 'empowering to the ordination, specializing in empirical spatial research and electronic data processing.
Research Interest
At present, its main interests concern the social and economic change in the contemporary city, with particular regard to the commercial fabric of historic centers and the dynamics resulting from the tourist development of the cities given. Particular attention is paid to the methodological aspects related to empirical research in the socio-economic field and to computer applications in geographic research.
