Biography
Paola Bonazzi , born in Florence on 22-5-1960. Degree in Geological Sciences, 1985 (AIC Degree Award). Ph.D. in Mineralogy and Petrology (1986 / 87-1989 / 90). Ugo Panichi Prize (1996). Member of the Presidency of the Italian Society of Mineralogy and Petrology (1998-1999). Member of the Board of Directors of the National Mineralogy Group (2001-03 and 2004-06). Collaborator of the CNR Research Center for Minerogenesis and Applied Geochemistry (CSMGA) -Fences since 1990. Associate with the CNR Institute of Geosciences and Georisorse since 2002. Coordinator of the Doctorate of Earth Sciences at the University of Florence (three years 2005- 2008). Member of the Presidency of the Italian Association of Crystallography (2009-2011).
