Paolo Barrucci

Biography

He graduated in Political Science with a thesis in sociology of work at the University of Pisa, where he also held the PhD in Sociology of Development, Postdoctoral and Research Check in Social Policies. In 2001 he won the qualification as a Professor of the Sociology Band (sps / 07); Since 2002 she has been employed at the University of Lecce, where she has held various lectures, in addition to chairing the CDL Internship Traineeship Committee, including: Social Policy, Sociology of Development, Economic Sociology, Sociology of Countries in development, sociology of work, methodology and technique of social research. From 2005 to 2012 he was incarnated at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Florence, where he taught General Sociology, Social Policies, Sociology of Work and Organization, Family Sociology. In AI 2012-2013 it has been granted a one year leave for research purposes. From 2013 he is incardinated in the Department of Political and Social Sciences. He has worked for many years in adult education, with public and private organizations. With regard to both theoretical and empirical research, it has focused on local development and globalization; organization of work; citizenship and social exclusion; quality and evaluation of social and health services; Social Services and Social Work; division of labor and "globalization" of the economy. He is currently carrying out studies on transformations of the social mode of capitalist production, work and divisions, with particular attention to the division of labor on a global scale and the exploitation of immigrant labor force.
