Biography
He is a regular full-time professor. He teaches History of Medieval and Modern Law, History of Modern and Contemporary Law, and History of Modern Codes. He taught Common Law, History of Italian Law and General Law Theory at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ferrara and Private Law Institutions at the Faculty of Florence and is a member of the scientific committees, editorial staff or management of numerous journals (Quaderni fiorentini for the History of Modern Legal Thought, History Magazine of Italian Law, Political Philosophy, Ars interpretandi, Private Law, Europe and Private Law).
Research Interest
His research interests are oriented towards the history of Italian legal culture, the history of private law institutes, codification in modern Europe.
