Biography
Paolo Nesi is full professor at the University of Florence, working at the Department of Systems and Computer Science (Computer Science Department) as: Vice-director. Chair of the DISIT (Distributed Systems and Internet Technology http://www.disit.dinfo.unifi.it/ ) Lab, of the University of Florence, member of Scientific Committee of CSAVRI, referent person for APRE Toscana (http: // www.apretoscana.org), founder of the INEALab (ElectroAcoustic Engineering Labs with companies and research departments) http://www.inea-lab.eu/.
Research Interest
working mainly on: software engineering, signal analysis (video and audio processing), protection models, models and media for digital content distribution, distributed architecture systems, formal models, artificial vision, music recognition, models, digital rights management (DRM), CAS, automated formatting, component systems, multimedia middleware, distribution systems, GRID, P2P, mobile solutions, user profiling, etc.
